I was responsible for rigging the N Animiniz for the Glitch Inn Announcement Music Video, which was also my first assignment Glitch Productions! To make all the complex facial animations possible, I developed a way to do 2D facial rigs on a 3D surface in Unreal Engine by using a SceneCapture2D component to do an orthographic render of a series of 2D face layer meshes and transfer the result to a decal component, which is projected back onto the head. I also used existing rig components created by Andy Gill for the legs, arms, and torso to allow for more time to be spent on polishing the facial rig.
